Prana Mudra stimulates and strengthens our self - healing abilities

There is a wonderful amazing breathing practice that I learned from a Master, a right hand man to the infamous Swami Satchidananda. It incorporates Mudras, a Sanskrit word that means gestures. Each mudra is done with certain fingers held in toward the palms and a visualization of the cells of the part of the body one is focused on. For instance the first round of breath is done to get seven times the amount of oxygen into the lungs and to stimulate the healing energy of the palms and fingers. The hands are super healing vessels and for one who strengthens their palms with awareness and cultivates this awareness into practice the hands' healing abilities strengthen. Then the practice goes on to change finger positions co-ordinated with the deep three part breathing and a Qi Gong way of moving the hands. Each change represents a part of the body. For example, the first one is from the navel to the lower extremities.  By visualizing the area and even the nucleus of the cells that need repair an electrical current is generated to heal that cell. The intention of the mind activates the healing. This is another wonderful example of a mind over matter healing practice. It is my favorite.

THE ENERGETIC SUN AND THE BODY ELECTRIC - A case for not changing from solar time to DST

The human body naturally follows the electromagnetic cycles of the solar system. The eyes receive input signals from light which prompts the hypothalamus gland in the brain to send signals to specific genes called period genes which initialize protein signals to other glands stimulating hormone and enzyme release to awaken the body and prepare it for digestion and other tasks. It is important to note that youngsters and teenagers’ response to the sleep hormone melatonin is delayed. Melatonin rises at least an hour later than in adults. This means they will not be alert until sometime between 9am and 11 am.

DST alters this time so that teens will not be alert until between 10 am and noontime. Learning will be greatly challenged because they are responding to the solar time not the change of the clocks.

DST puts everyone at risk for sleep and digestion issues and even severe health issues like heart attacks. This correlates to performance, digestion, alertness, which therefore impact safety such as automobile accidents and impacts health in a negative way.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), every organ has a specific time that it is flushed with energy according to the electromagnetic patterns of the sun. The TCM system of analysis also delineates yin (softer more vulnerable organ meridians and yang organ meridians which are more dominant and less vulnerable). Take for instance the energy of the lung meridian body clock that is being nourished with energy for the day during the solar time of 3 am to 5 am. The lung meridian is the most vulnerable of the yin organs. It is known that staying warm and rested at this time allows the process to complete its nourishment and this prepares the body for the coming tasks of the day. Without this proper nourishment the whole body is at a handicap.

For individuals who arise at 5 am, which in solar time is the TCM yang organ meridian time for the large intestine (colon) and a perfect time to arise for the day, these individuals are now arising during the yin time of the lung organ meridian at solar time 4 am, when the body should be kept warm and rested. This unnatural early rising creates vulnerability for disease states to set in. Recall that children and teens are behind us in responding to solar time because their melatonin responses are delayed by an hour or two. This means that when these young human beings arise at 5 am DST they are getting up way too early and functions are altered and impacted negatively.  To the young body they are responding like it’s 3am. I do not want to see this happen to our youth.

There is a dynamic relationship between our body’s energy patterns and the solar electromagnetic spectrum. Changing the clock time alters the efficiency and health patterns that have been specifically engineered by creation to react to morning light. This is very important.

In 2017, the National Institute of General Medical Sciences funded a study on circadian rhythms that resulted in The Nobel Prize. The study showed how circadian rhythms affected brain and body functions such as sleep and how sharply your brain functions. Circadian rhythms are physical, mental, and behavioral changes that follow the 24-hour electromagnetic solar cycle. These signals affect most living things including microbes. A master clock in the brain coordinates all the biological clocks that affect every single tissue and organ. The researchers identified specific genes that make up the molecules of the body clock. I do not believe the time should be adjusted because the body/mind/ emotions and therefore behavior  depends on solar time.

The study that coveted the Nobel Prize showed that there is a group of neurons consisting of 20,000 neurons (nerve cells) that form a structure named the suprachiasmatic nucleus (SCN) located in the hypothalamus that receive direct input from the eyes. Melatonin is produced in the SCN.

Another point to consider is that there are higher organizing forces called Chakras (circulating fields of energy that correspond to the major nerve plexuses and endocrine organs of the body) and Nadis (networks of subtle energy channels) that respond to light particles. The body’s circulation fluid channels of water, blood and lymph are directly affected by electromagnetic signals and cause polarity fields to interact with one another and to even switch polarities. It is known that cancer cells have lost their ability to switch polarities. Since water is the main element of the body and it carries polarized electromagnetic ions that respond to light and sound waves, the appropriate body clock time is very important. The neurons (nerve cells) regulate electrical signals that respond to the specific frequency inputs of the chakras. Chakras in my opinion are like step-up transformers. Each successive chakra responds to a higher frequency until it reaches the brain which is the highest frequency of all. This brilliant act of creation allows the human body to respond electrically to the solar system.

Please do not change from solar time.
